SacherTeagan Sacher was able to get the Lethbridge Hurricanes back in the win column with a steady game against the Brandon Wheat Kings. It took a short 20 second overtime for the Hurricanes to defeat the Wheat Kings. Sacher has been showing no signs of rust coming off his injury. Sacher  stopped 25 of the 27 shots that came his way Sacher has been able to post a 4-6-0-1 record with the struggling Hurricanes since coming over in a trade from the Regina Pats. Sacher has also posted 1 shutout with the Hurricanes so far this season.   Game Summary WilliamsEric Williams of the Spokane Chiefs was perfect when the Chiefs hosted their bitter rivals, the Tri-City Americans. Williams wasn't overly busy making 16 saves for the shutout, but he was there when his team needed him. "Goalie Eric Williams had an outstanding performance, stopping all 16 shots fired his direction. The Americans' Rodney Southam had the team's best chance to get on the board in the 2nd Period, but Williams stretched out to stop the breakaway chance with his stick" Game Summary___________________________________________________________________________

The Brandon Wheat Kings, Eastman Selects and both the Winnipeg Wild and Thrashers all hold 2-0 game advantages in their opening playoff series. Mario Petit didn't allow a single shot past him when the Eastman Selects hosted the Southwest Cougars. Petit stopped all 25 shots that he was faced with. Petit and the Selects were also red hot on the penalty kill, as they killed off all 9 of the Cougars power plays. ______________________________________________________________________ From @Teagansacher33: "First career dub point tonight.. #tooktoolong"
