A perfect 6-0-0-0 record, which includes one shutout against Norman Northstars and three one-goal games, an impressive 1.32 goals against average and a save percentage of .934 has earned Southwest Cougars’ Brian Archibald the Century 21 Goaltender of the Month award. The third-year veteran, a native of Killarney who has allowed just eight goals in those six starts, has backstopped the Cougars to a 10-0-0-1 record, tops in the West Division and second overall. His .934 save percentage is a league best, while his 1.32 goals against average is second-best in the league. Archibald has trained with GDI Prairies throughout the summer months and had also helped instruct at GDI Prairies Summer Camp.
