MENOMONIE (October. 26, 2013) - Kevin O'Donnell (Sr, Stoughton) scored on a penalty shot with 22 seconds remaining in overtime to give UW-Stout a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Marian University in the season opener for both teams Saturday at the Dunn County Ice Arena. With the score tied at 3-3, O'Donnell came across the crease, was tripped and was awarded the shot. O'Donnell sliced the shot right through the five-hole to score his second goal of the night. Both teams have opportunities in the overtime period, with Marian getting three OT shots on net and Stout four. The puck was flying fast and furious all night. stout put 53 shots on frame, while Marian put 37. Corey Koop (Fr, Squamish, BC) got his first collegiate win by making 34 saves.
