This season GDI has gotten to know all of  the Central Plains Capitals goaltenders quite well. GDI has been travelling out to Portage La Prairie, Manitoba on a weekly basis to work with multiple Central Plains Capitals teams.

CAPS-WINProvincial Midget AAA 

The Provincial Midget AAA Capitals currently sit in 5th in the Manitoba Midget AAA standings. Goaltenders Duncan McGovern and Justin Klassen have backstopped the Capitals to a solid season so far. McGovern has posted a record of 11-8-1 with a low GAA of 2.03. McGovern's Sv% has been equally impressive coming in at .931. McGovern has also posted 3 shutouts so far this season. Klassen has a record of 8-4-2 to go along with a GAA of 2.94 and Sv% of .908. Klassen has also blanked the opposition once so far.

Bantam-AAA-Central-Plains-CapitalsBantam AAA

The Bantam AAA Capitals currently sit 2nd in the Bantam 1 West Division with a record of 15-10-0-1. Goaltenders Cody Williams and Cole Muys have both been strong between the pipes. Williams has posted a record of 11-5-0 to go along with a GAA of 4.25. Muys has a record of 4-6-0 and a GAA of 5.11. Muys has also one shutout so far this season.


Female Bantam AAA

The Female Bantam AAA Capitals have enjoyed a successful hockey season so far. Goalies Jillian Gingras and Isabell Reutter have played a large role in the team's success. Gingras has posted a record of 15-9 so far to go with her sparkling GAA of 1.76. Gingras has also recorded 3 shutouts so far this year. Not to be outdone, Reutter has also posted impressive numbers with a GAA of 1.83 to go with her record of 13-8. Reutter has also posted 2 shutouts this season.

The Bantam AA Capitals currently find themselves in the basement of a strong Winnipeg Bantam AA league. Goaltending hasn't been the issue as both Rhett Boschman and Grayson Pashe have been giving it their all every game. Boschman has posted a GAA of 3.99 while Pashe has come in at 6.40. Both goaltenders are looking at having a strong stretch run as the playoffs draw nearer. These are the anchor to the goaltender’s off-season development needs. These 4 or 5 day camps provide the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time. Our camps are very intense and goaltenders will conduct on-ice sessions, fitness testing, flexibility and hand eye training, classroom sessions, daily journals, off-ice dryland, comprehensive evaluation reports and much more.
