The Credit Union Cup went to northern Saskatchewan last year and there is no reason to think it couldn't stay there. With help from both vetern goaltender Adam Bartko and rookie Myles Hovdebo the Ice Wolves have taken a strangle hold on the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with minimal goals against at 143 in 46 games - the second lowest in the league. La Ronge currently sits first in the Bauer division, three points up on Melfort. Within the CJHL Current Weekly Rankings - La Ronge is ranked 10th

With the addition of young Myles Hovdebo, La Ronge has been provided with security between the pipes. Myles has a record of 10 wins and 1 loss and a save percentage of .912.

Myles has trained and instructed with GDI Prairies steadily over the past several years. As a goaltender he brings to the table an athletic and highly technical approach towards his position. His passion and dedication in net is second to none. If you have a chance to see him in a game, take note of his strong ice awareness as plays develop - always judging opposing threats.

Below is a past interview with Myles dating back to November 15th from the Ice Wolves Insider.
