With a Game 5 2-1 victory the Portage Terriers take this years MJHL Championship. Terriers goaltender Adam Iwan, who went 12-2 throughout the playoffs, was a large factor in the teams success. Having a save percentage at .919 through the teams run he held the back to back Turnbull Cup Champions in every game by a low scoring affair. Iwan was accepted one the playoffs most valuable player awards. Winnipeg Saints netminder Teagan Sacher was given the games 3rd Star for his efforts in stopping 28 of 30 shots in the close match-up. Appearing in 7 games, the rookie netminder held a .916 Save Percentage and 2.22 Goals Against Average. There Terriers now look to take on the SJHL Championship team in order to advance to the RBC Cup - National Championship that takes place starting on May 5th.
