GDI Prairies would like to congratulate OCN Blizzard goaltender Matt Krahn, who was practically unbeatable last week, earning him MJHL Player of the Week honours. Not unfamiliar to the MJHL Player of the Week Award, Krahn accepted the award on three different occasions last season. The 20-year-old from Winnipeg posted three consecutive victories ─ one a shutout effort ─ for the Blizzard who moved above the .500 mark with a 3-2-1 record. Over Krahn’s three-game stretch, he gave up only four goals on 87 shots on net. The big goaltender (6-foot-2) improved his season record to 3-2, highlited with a sparkling 2.16 GAA and .919 save percentage.
