GDI Goalies Riley Lamb and Landon Poiron were both just named to the Manitoba Provincial Midget AAA 1st and 2nd All Star Teams.
League-leading Eastman Selects dominated the selections with two players on each of the first and second teams. Second-place Winnipeg Wild and third-place Yellowhead Chiefs each placed two players on the teams.
Eastman’s Brad Goethals, the league’s top scorer and only repeat from last year’s all-star teams, and teammate Kayle Tosh are joined on the first team by Yellowhead Chiefs goaltender Riley Lamb, defenceman Sam Huston of Brandon Wheat Kings and forwards Riece Gaber of Parkland Rangers and Nate Hooper of Winnipeg Thrashers.
Eastman also placed two players on the second team — goaltender Landon Poiron and de- fenceman Curtis Brule. They are joined by defenceman Conor Timlick and forward Riley Stotts, both of Winnipeg Wild, and forwards Tucker Scantlebury of Yellowhead Chiefs and Ryan Sin- clair of Central Plains Capitals.
The Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League all-stars are selected by a vote of each of the league coaches.
Lamb has trained with GDI through GDI Summer Camps located in Brandon, MB. Poiron has been training with GDI for many years through 1v1 lessons, GDI Prospect Camps and Mid-Season Tuneup Camps. ______________________________________________________________________________________

GDI Summer Camps:These are the anchor to the goaltender’s off-season development needs. These 4 or 5 day camps provide the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time. Our camps are very intense and goaltenders will conduct on-ice sessions, fitness testing, flexibility and hand eye training, classroom sessions, daily journals, off-ice dryland, comprehensive evaluation reports and much more.
