Former Manitoba Moose captain Mike Keane will be among the five athletes, two builders and two teams inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in November.

Keane won three Stanley Cups over his 16-year stint in the NHL. During that span, the Winnipegger scored 168 goals and 302 points in 1161 games. Keane finished his hockey career by playing five seasons with the Moose.

Also being inducted as athletes are former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Jim Heighton, sprinter Alanna (Yakiwchuk) Hinrichsen, five-time wheelchair basketball Paralympian Joey Johnson and swimmer Rhiannon Leier-Blacher.
