As the season has finished up for many minor hockey players it is now time to look forwarded to preparing for next year! Troy Martyniuk Dauphin Kings MJHL GDI Goalie RBC Cup 3Dauphin Kings' successful season has come to an end. The Kings lost a heart-breaking 5-3 decision to the Carleton Place Canadians Saturday night in Vernon. Yesterdays championship game pinned the Canadians against the Yorkton Terriers, who earned their berth in the final with a 6-3 victory over the host Vernon Vipers on Saturday afternoon. GDI would like to congratulate the Dauphin Kings on a successful run to the RBC Championship and would like to notice 1997 born rookie netminder Troy Martyniuk who helped the Kings in their trek to Vernon.   ______________________________________________________________________________________

      Kristen Hunt - GDI MFMHLGDI Goaltender Kristen Hunt has committed to attend school at and play hockey for the College of St. Scholastica commencing the 2014-2015 season. Over the past three years Kristen has been training at GDI and taking part in the Off-Season Total GDI Academy. St. Scholastica is a private university located in Duluth Minnesota and the Saints play DIII hockey in the NCHA (Northern Collegiate Hockey Association). Hunt played the 2013-2014 season with the Chiefs after two seasons with the Pembina Valley Hawks.
