In the MJHL:

The Sherwood Division has the series at 2-0 for the WPG Saints over the OCN Blizzard. Addison Herosian has been heroic again similar to the first round series as he only allowed 3 goals against in the two games, and grabbed a win in Overtime for Game 2. Sunday night the WPG Blues came back to lock the Addison Division series at 1-1 as they picked up a Double Overtime win by a score of 3-2. Adam Iwan of the Portage Terriers has now started in net 5 out of 6 games. In the most recent OT loss he was awarded the games 3rd star.  

In the MBAAA:

The MBAAA Final series the Winnipeg Wild are now up 2-0. Both Alex Moodie and Ty Edmonds have grabbed significant wins for the Southern Winnipeg team and have helped the squad now sit one point back from capturing a Provincial Championship. Both the WPG Wild and the Southwest Cougars have been awarded births into the Western Regional Telus Cup Qualifying Tournament.    

Looking at Minor Hockey:

Looking at the Manitoba Bantam 1 Provincials the Interlake Lightning came out of the weekend with a Bronze Medal. Goaltender Hayden Dola went 3-0-1 over the weekend and was selected as the Top Goaltender of the Provincials.
