Kasdorf Peppered With 42 Shots
There's not much more Jason Kasdorf could do in a 3-0 loss to the University of Denver Pioneers.
"Junior goaltender Jason Kasdorf made 39 saves, but the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team was shut out by 16th-ranked Denver University, this evening at Magness Arena. With the win, the Pioneers open the season at 1-0, while the Engineers drop to 1-2."
"Kasdorf (Winnipeg, MB/Des Moines Bucs) stopped all 20 shots he faced in the first period, and 11 in the second, including five during a five-minute Denver power-play."
Kasdorf has been training with GDI for the past 5 years, from his time with the Portage Terriers to being an NHL draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets. Kasdorf regularly attends 1v1 lessons and is a part of the Total GDI Academy during the off-season which includes 3 ice times a week with a 1v1 lesson, PSM circuit and GDI Tactical session.______________________________________________________________________________________

Dola was named the 2nd star of the game for his solid play.
In the other end of the rink was another GDI Goalie, Justin Holder. Holder made 29 saves in the game for the Wolverines but it wasn't enough to defeat Dola and the Steelers.
Tremblay Blanks Nipawin
Spencer Tremblay was perfect through 3 periods and overtime as the Battlefords Northstars defeated the Nipawin Hawks 1-0.
