Lotz Prevails In Marathon Shootout Win
Austin Lotz was able to make 32 saves in a 3-2 shootout victory over the Kamloops Blazers. The big story of the game was the shootout that decided the game.
"Fifteen rounds! I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I can say with some confidence that was the longest shootout in Silvertips franchise history. And not only did it go 15 rounds, the first 24 shooters were all denied as Everett's Austin Lotz and Kamloops' Connor Ingram put on a clinic, matching one another save for save."

Lotz also pushes himself during the off-season by attending the Total GDI Academy.______________________________________________________________________________________
Parsons Named Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player Of The Week
Scott Parsons of the Winnipeg Blues has been named the Recycle Everywhere-MJHL Player of the Week.
The 19-year-old goaltender was close to flawless, reflected in a 2-0 record, one shutout and 1.00 GAA. Parsons, who hails from Fort Francis, Ont., also posted a sparkling save percentage of .956 for the Blues, who sit third in the MJHL with 13 wins and 31 points.
Parsons has trained with GDI for several years taking part in GDI 1v1 training sessions and also attending GDI Summer Camps.
Sacher Posts First Wins As A Steeler
After a win eluded him in his first start as a Selkirk Steeler, Teagan Sacher was able to post back to back wins this past week.
On Wednesday night Sacher was peppered with 47 shots against the Swan Valley Stampeders. Sacher stood tall and stopped 45 of them.
The Steelers would take this game 3-2. It's no surprise Sacher was named the 1st star of the game.
Sacher was again busy in a 3-2 shootout win over the visiting Steinbach Pistons.
Sacher made 33 saves in the win and didn't allow a single Pistons player to beat him in the shootout.
Sacher has been with GDI for years taking part in the GDI Total Academy and many 1v1 lessons.______________________________________________________________________________________
