Mid-Season Tuneup Camps:
As the hockey season wears on, a goaltender’s focus naturally drifts as the intense training of the summer time gets farther in the rear view mirror. This is the perfect time for a GDI Midseason Tune-up. This camp refreshes the goaltenders mind and muscle memory. Timed with the Christmas layoff, this provides goalies with an outstanding refresher course just before the stretch run to the playoffs.
GDI will be offering 3 separate locations over the Christmas break for these camps.
Dec. 27: Brandon, MB - Brandon SportsplexDec. 27: Russell, MB - Russell MultiplexDec. 28,29,30: Winnipeg, MB - The Rink Training Centre
Book your spots as soon as possible as the camps will fill up quickly.
BOOK YOUR 1v1 SPOTS FOR GDI NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 1v1's:
Make sure you stay sharp this season by attending 1v1 lessons. The months of November and December are starting to fill up for 1v1 sessions at the centre.
We are now open from 3:30PM-9:30PM during the week, 10:00AM-3:00PM Saturday and Sunday
To make sure you secure your spots throughout November and December we suggest signing up for your 1v1 sessions well in advance!
Verhelst Hunts Down The Thunderbirds
Tyson Verhelst was busy this past Friday night as his Spokane Chiefs defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds.
"In goal for Spokane was Tyson Verhelst, who stopped 35 of 36 shots in his sixth appearance of the season. Verhelst's record now stands at 4-1-0-0."

GDI Goalies All Over Winnipeg
GDI was again busy this past week with multiple minor hockey clinics taking place all over Winnipeg.
All goalies of the AA Railcats program visited The Rink Training Centre on Saturday to sharpen their skills. The AA Railcats program will be visiting GDI on a bi-weekly basis throughout the season.
GDI was also with St. Vital minor hockey over the weekend working with all the local goalies.
GDI looks forward to continuing to work with all these goalies as the season progresses.
