GDI GOALIES HIT THE OUTDOOR RINK
Hockey Manitoba is celebrating it’s 100th year anniversary.
Part of the celebration featured two outdoor hockey games between the top female teams in Winnipeg on December 17th.
In the first game Jessica Campbell and Rylie Wills of the Balmoral Hall Blazers took on Anna Kulas and Nicole Whitesell of the Winnipeg Avros. The Avros defeated the Blazers in a tight game by a score of 2-1.
The second game had Kristen Campbell and the Shaftesbury Titans facing off against the St. Mary’s Flames. The Titans beat the Flames 2-1 in a shootout in another close game.
All goalies involved in the outdoor games have trained regularly with GDI for many years.
Busy Week For Minor Hockey Hockey
It was a busy week for GDI with multiple clinics going on all week.
This past week GDI worked with The River East AA Marauders, St. Vital AA Vics, Transcona AA Railcats and Assiniboine Park Minor Hockey Association.
All the goalies that attended were pushed through a PSM circuit and multiple tactical drills.
GDI looks forward to continuing to work with all these goalies again in the new year.
