Austin Lotz didn't allow the holiday break to slow him down as he posted his second shutout of the season.
"Goaltender Austin Lotz (16-6-1-1) turned away all 28 shots faced on the way to his eighth career shutout and first star honors in the contest.
Everett couldn’t generate much offensively in the third, but kept the puck out of their own net as Lotz continued to play well. With a combined 17 shots in the final twenty minutes, the game ultimately went to overtime where the first goal of the game would also determine the winner.''

GDI Mid-Season Tuneup camps are designed to refresh a goaltender's mind and body heading into the second half of the season and playoffs.
The day featured two ice times and an hour long boardroom session. The boardroom session featured GDI Instructors Dan Ferguson, Brett Martyniuk and Joe Caligiuri where they discussed many topics that will help goaltenders both mentally and physically in the second half of the season.
