Make sure you stay sharp this season by attending 1v1 lessons. The month of March is starting to fill up for 1v1 sessions at the centre. We are now open from 3:30PM-9:30PM during the week, 10:00AM-3:00PM Saturday and Sunday To make sure you secure your spots throughout March we suggest signing up for your 1v1 sessions well in advance! GDI Off-Season Programs

The hockey season is starting to wind down, It's time to start planning your off-season training. GDI offers a wide variety of off-season programs.

Spring Programs:

GDI is offering two separate springs programs this year.

Spring Academy:

Brown Tames Broncos & Warriors

Tyler Brown had to earn his sixth win of the season Wednesday night. Brown turned aside 29 shots in a 4-1 win over the host Swift Current Broncos. Brown and the Pats were also perfect on the penalty kill killing off all four of the Broncos' power plays. To read more Click Here Brown carried that strong play into Friday night when the Pats payed their arch rivals, The Moose Jaw Warriors a visit. Brown handled 33 of the 36 shots sent his way, including facing 17 in the opening frame of the game. Brown and the Pats were able to comeback from a 3-0 deficit and scored 4 unanswered goals to beat the Warriors 4-3. Nick Deery Steinbach Pistons GDI GoaltendingRound Two Underway For MJHL Playoffs

Round Two of the MJHL playoffs got underway this week. Two GDI Goalies are going head to head as Nick Deery and the Steinbach Pistons are facing off against Teagan Sacher and the Selkirk Steelers. Deery and the Pistons have taken the first three games so far. Deery has played exceptionally well posting all 3 wins for the Pistons including a shutout Sunday night. Deery made 24 saves for the 4-0 shutout. Deery and the Pistons were also perfect on the penalty kill Sunday night killing off all 9 penalties against. Deery was rewarded by being named the game's third star. Sacher was a bit busier on the night making 34 saves in the loss for the Steelers. Deery has been training with GDI for over 2 years through 1v1 lessons and the Total GDI Academy. GDI Instructor Dan Ferguson is also the goaltending coach for the Steinbach Pistons. Adamyk Wild GDI GoaltendingAdamyk Named Manitoba Midget AAA Top Goaltender

It’s safe to say Mitchel Adamyk enjoyed his first year in the Manitoba Midget AAA League with the Winnipeg Wild. Mitchel Adamyk was recently named the Manitoba Midget AAA league’s Top Goaltender. Adamyk led the league in goaltender statistics with a Goals Against Average of 1.22 and a Save Percentage of .942. Adamyk also posted 7 shutouts this season to go along with his impressive record of 22-2-0-1. Dowhy Named Second Team All-Star

The Manitoba Female Midget AAA League recently named their annual award winners and All-Star teams. Among the players named was Norman Wild goaltender Kerigan Dowhy. Dowhy was named the starting goaltender for the 2nd All-Star team. This is the second year in a row that Dowhy has been named to the All-Star team. Dowhy played more minutes that any other goalie this season playing 1663 minutes while posting a record of 9-19-1-0. Dowhy also posted a respectable goals against average of 3.14 with a sparkling save percentage of .931. Dowhy has travelled to Winnipeg the last few years to work through 1v1 lessons with GDI. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In The Crease
