Deery Leads Pistons Past Blues
"Another game, another shutout for Nick Deery and the Steinbach Pistons, this time the final was 4-0, giving Steinbach a 4-1 series win against the defending MJHL Champions."
Goalie Nick Deery continues to play out of this world, after a 35 save shutout in game 4, he followed that up with a 46 save performance. Dyck notes that Deery continues to be amazing. "He's tracking pucks as good as any goalie has in this league. He's been tremendous, just a real calming presence for our club. When we are in trouble in our zone, he's either making saves or freezing pucks allowing us to settle down."
