Summer Camps:
These are the anchor to the goaltender’s off-season development needs. These 4 or 5 day camps provide the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time.
Our camps are very intense and goaltenders will conduct on-ice sessions, fitness testing, flexibility and hand eye training, classroom sessions, daily journals, off-ice dryland, comprehensive evaluation reports and much more.These spots fill up well in advance, don't miss your opportunity to train with GDI.

Mowat Named BSU Female Athlete Of The Year
GDI Goalie Brittni Mowat has been named Bemidji State University's Female Athlete of the Year.
Mowat appeared in 33 games for the Beavers playing 1,964 minutes posting a record of 19-13-1. Mowat's personal numbers were even more outstanding with a Gaa of 1.68 and a Sv% of .945.
Brittni Mowat enjoyed some personal success this season as well, setting a new Bemidji State Program record with 7 shutouts in a single season. Mowat was also named a WCHA Conference First Team All-Star.

Deery A Finalist For National Award
GDI Goalie Nick Deery has been recognized as a finalist for the CJHL's Top Goaltender.
The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced today the five finalists for the 2015 Top Goaltender Award. The award will recognize the most outstanding goaltender in the CJHL based on individual performance during the regular season.
Each of the 10 leagues within the CJHL selected a nominee for the Goaltender of the Year honour. Following the initial round of voting, five players qualified as finalists for the award and will now advance to the final stage of the selection process. The five finalists for the Top Goaltender honour represent the ACHL, BJHL, CCHL, MJHL and SJHL.
Nick Deery, Steinbach Pistons, MJHL (47 GP, 30 W – 15 L – 2.27 GAA – .922 S% – 5 SO)
Nick was a workhorse for the Pistons. His 2,798 minutes played was a league high. He also led all MJHL goaltenders in shutouts with a total of five. The native of La Crosse, WI., committed to the University of Minnesota Duluth earlier in the season. Twice named the MJHL’s Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week, Nick capped his season by capturing the league’s top goaltender award, in addition to a first-team all-star selection.

Clean Sweep For GDI Goalies At AAA Awards
Winnipeg AAA recently held their annual awards banquet and GDI Goalies made a clean sweep of all the top goaltender awards. Mitchel Adamyk, Ryan Hall, Brendan Benoit and Dawson Rattai all went home with some hardware.
Provincial Midget: Mitchel Adamyk (Winnipeg Wild)
Adamyk logged 1,425 minutes for the Winnipeg Wild this season with a record of 22-2. Adamyk also led the league in goaltender stats with an extremely low Gaa of 1.22 and a Sv% of .942. Adamyk also put up a league leading 7 shutouts for the season.
Adamyk has been training with GDI for many years through 1v1 lessons, GDI Prospect Clinics and the Total GDI Academy.
City Midget: Ryan Hall (Winnipeg Monarchs)
Including playoffs Ryan Hall appeared in 23 games for the Monarchs with a 17-4-1 record. Hall had a Gaa of 2.38 and Sv% of .899 to go along with 1 shutout.
Hall's season was capped off by winning the City Championship by defeating the Winnipeg Warriors.
Hall has been training with GDI through 1v1 lessons and both the In-Season and Off-Season Total GDI Academy.
Bantam 1: Brendan Benoit (Winnipeg Warriors)
Benoit enjoyed a very successful season capturing a Winnipeg City Championship, Manitoba Provincial Championship and a bronze medal at the Western Canadian Bantam Championships.
During the regular season and playoffs Benoit had impressive numbers with a 23-7-0 record to go with his Gaa of 1.67 and Sv% of .934. Even more impressive was that Benoit put up 10 shutouts on the season.
Brendan Benoit played the most out of any goalie at the Western Canadian Bantam Championships. He posted a record of 2-1-2 with the second best Gaa of the tournament at 2.80.
Benoit was also named the starting goalie for the 2nd All-Star team from the tournament.
Benoit trains with GDI through the Total GDI Off-Season Academy.
Bantam 2: Dawson Rattai (Winnipeg Sharks)
Including playoffs Dawson Rattai appeared in 18 games for the Bantam 2 Winnipeg Sharks going 8-8-1 with a 2.99 Gaa and a Sv% of .907.
Rattai has been training with GDI for many years through GDI Summer Camps, 1v1 lessons as well as both the In-Season and Off-Season Total GDI Academy.
GDI And The Rink Join Forces With Mark Scheifele And Kid Sport Winnipeg
GDI and The Rink will be joining forces with Kid Sport Winnipeg and Mark Scheifele this summer.
From June 20th to the 21st GDI and The Rink will be instructing during the 1st annual Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp. The 1st annual Mark Scheifele Hockey Camp in support of KidSport Winnipeg is a two day camp aimed at helping the next generation of hockey players grow their skills and elevate their game.

Tim Turk Visits GDI And The Rink
NHL shooting coach Tim Turk was in Winnipeg this weekend joining GDI and The Rink for a three day camp.
While the skaters were working on their accuracy and power, GDI Goalies were working on reading the release of shots.
GDI would like to thank Tim Turk for coming to Winnipeg to work with The Rink and GDI. Everyone involved really enjoyed the camp!

Brett is the Development Coordinator at GDI and is the current Goaltending Coach of the MBAAA Winnipeg Thrashers.
Brett provides 1v1 instruction at GDI, along with being apart of GDI Regional Development Camps and Clinics throughout the season. He provides a strong technical and psychological perspective on the position, helping each goaltender he instructs reach new heights.
