Make sure you stay sharp this season by attending 1v1 lessons. The month of January is starting to fill up for 1v1 sessions at the centre.
We are open from 3:30pm-9:30pm during the week and 10:00am-2:00pm / 3:00pm-7:00pmSaturdays and 10:00am-3:00pm Sundays.
To make sure you secure your spots throughout January, we suggest signing up for your 1v1 sessions well in advance!
GDI Summer Camps
These are the anchor to the goaltender’s off-season development needs. These 4 or 5 day camps provide the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time. Our camps are very intense and goaltenders will conduct on-ice sessions, fitness testing, flexibility and hand eye training, classroom sessions, daily journals, off-ice dryland, comprehensive evaluation reports and much more.

Flodell & Verhelst Go Head To Head
GDI Goalies Logan Flodell and Tyson Verhelst went head to head in WHL action Tuesday night when the Spokane Chiefs visited the Seattle Thunderbirds.
It would be Flodell and the Thunderbirds coming out on the winning side of the game with a 2-1 victory. Flodell would be named the game's second star finishing the night with 28 saves.
Verhelst finished the night making 20 saves in the defeat.
Flodell has been training with GDI for many years through GDI Summer Camps and travelling to Winnipeg to work through 1v1 lessons.Verhelst has been training with GDI through 1v1 lessons and the Total GDI Academy. GDI President Ryan Cyr is also the goaltending coach for the Spokane Chiefs.
Petit Earns First Career WHL Win
It took an additional 46 seconds but Mario Petit was able to secure his first career WHL win Saturday night when the Everett Silvertips visited the Kamloops Blazers.
Petit turned aside 14 shots in the 4-3 Silvertips win.

Kubic Tames Cougars
Ryan Kubic played like a Giant when the Vancouver Giants traveled to northern BC to take on the Prince George Cougars Saturday night.
Kubic turned aside 30 shots including 14 in the opening period as the Giants defeated the Cougars by a score of 4-1.
Kubic was also named the first star of the game for the Giants.

Kubic followed up that performance the following night with a 5-3 win over those same Cougars. Kubic finished the night making 32 saves this time for the win.

Martyniuk Gives Winnipeg The Blues
Troy Martyniuk sent his hometown Winnipeg Blues packing with a loss when they visited the Waywayseecappo Wolverines Saturday night.
Martyniuk made 29 saves as the Wolverines skated to a 3-1 win over the Blues. Martyniuk and the Wolverines were perfect on the penalty kill as they didn't allow the Blues to capitalize on any of the 5 power plays they received.
Martyniuk was also named the game's first for his strong play.
Martyniuk has been training with GDI for over 7 years with 1v1 lessons, GDI Summer Camps and the Total GDI Academy.

Bannerman A World Champion
While some Canadian teams may have struggled in Finland recently, Ryann Bannerman and Canada's National U-20 Ringette Team came out golden.
It took some extra time but Canada was able to defeat Team Finland 10-9 in overtime in the final game for the President's Trophy.
GDI would like to congratulate Ryann on bringing home the gold medal!
