      Eric williams GDI GoalieThe Colorado Eagles of the East Coast Hockey League have added former Spokane Chiefs goaltender Eric Williams to their roster. Williams, whose 73 career wins rank third in Chiefs history, suited up for Colorado on Wednesday night but didn’t play. Williams finished his 2013-14 Western Hockey League season with a record of 33-19-2-2 and career bests with a 2.71 goals-against average and .906 save percentage. Williams, of Langley, British Columbia, came to the Chiefs during the 2011-12 season in a trade with Prince Albert. Byron Spriggs Winnipeg Blues GDI GoaltendingByron Spriggs, a goaltender with the Winnipeg Blues has been awarded the RBC Junior A Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. “I’m obviously honoured to win this award,” said Spriggs, who is studying Business at the University of Manitoba. “I’m majoring in Human Resources management.
