Look below, get your goalie fix to start the week. Here we go!______________________________________________________________________________________It’s the first big step towards the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in South Korea. Brittni Mowat of Glenboro was invited to the National women’s program strength and conditioning camp. Canada’s Under-18 women’s strength and conditioning camp runs the same time with Brandon’s Kristen Campbell. Both goaltenders have been a staple at GDI for the past three years attending one-on-one personal training sessions and GDI Prospect Clinics. For more on the camp Click Here.______________________________________________________________________________________On April 15th the Winnipeg Blues conquered the MJHL as they took down the Dauphin Kings. The Blues captured a 5-1 win to take the crown of the league. Blues netminder Byron Spriggs made 15/16 stops on the night in a relatively quite night as the Kings went back and fourth between both goaltenders on the night. For the full report on the game Click Here. The Winnipeg Blues won the Turnbull Trophy and took all the awards to go along with it. The Top Goalie and MVP award went to Byron Spriggs while Liam Bilton grabbed Top Scorer in the MJHL Playoffs. The Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup finally has it’s teams. The Dauphin Kings (HOST), Winnipeg Blues (MJHL), Yorkton Terriers (SJHL), Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL) and Coquitlam Express (BCHL) will battle it out for two spots in the 2014 RBC Cup in Vernon BC. ___________________________________________________________________________ From @A_Loewen1: I'd like to thank my teammates/owners/coaches/fans for a great season! 140 characters isn't enough to express my full gratitude! #gosnakes______________________________________________________________________________________Are you looking at getting new equipment?
