Starting in his 2nd game in two nights, Alex Moodie went into the back-to-back game against the Prince Albert Raiders capturing his first win. Moodie faced 38 shots on the night, stopping 34, which included being peppered rubber 18 times in the 2nd. Making his first appearance with the Saskatoon Blades he was thrown into a 6-1 onslaught against the Edmonton Oil Kings as he entered the 3rd period on December 27th. After holding his own for 20 minutes Moodie then went up for his first full test against the Raiders, in a tough one, where he suffered a 5-2 loss. The next evening he rebounded and went to town to capture his first victory with a 9-4 win.
