DULUTH -- The Greenville Road Warriors (26-14-2-2) opened up a 4-0 lead on the Gwinnett Gladiators (26-16-1-1) midway through the second period and cruised to a 4-1 win on Monday afternoon at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. Greenville got goals from four different skaters while Nathan Lieuwen finished with 24 saves to help lift the Road Warriors back into first place in the ECHL's South Division. Greenville sits two points ahead of Gwinnett with 56 points on the season. For more on this game Click Here.Back on December 18th Lieuwen was awarded the ECHL Goaltender of the Week as he went 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 0.50 goals-against average and a save percentage of .983 to help the Warriors to four straight wins.Under contract to the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League, Lieuwen spent the previous five seasons with Kootenay of the Western Hockey League. He appeared in 178 career games with the Ice posting an overall record of 85-59-15 with nine shutouts, a 2.77 goals-against average and a save percentage of .903, and had helped the Ice to a Memorial Cup appearance after capturing the WHL Championship.

BRETT MARTYNIUK
Brett is the Development Coordinator at GDI and is the current Goaltending Coach of the MBAAA Winnipeg Thrashers.
Brett provides 1v1 instruction at GDI, along with being apart of GDI Regional Development Camps and Clinics throughout the season. He provides a strong technical and psychological perspective on the position, helping each goaltender he instructs reach new heights.
