Goaltender Zach Rakochy was placed in a situation of being moved into Steinbach. Entering the MJHL on struggling team was in order to help them break out of a slump. In the last six games the Pistons were able to squeeze out 5 points. Their winning ways seem to be at home at the T.G. Smith Centre, a barn filled on game night high to the rafters. Most recently, Rakochy took down the OCN Blizzard with a 3-2 victory. Stopping 31 of 33 shots on the night, including being peppered with 19 shots against in the second period, the Pistons were able to hold on for a much needed win. At the start of this year Zach Rakochy had a brief stint with the WHL Spokane Chiefs before being sent down to the SJHL Melville Millionaires.
