Both Alex Moodie and Matt Hewitt each came up with big performances on Wednesday night as they each captured shutouts. Young rookie netminder Alex Moodie was able to close the door against the Brandon Wheat Kings as he was bombarded with rubber facing 37 shots on the night. Holding the Blades in it, Moodie helped them come away with a 2-0 win, and inched the team higher within the Eastern Conference standings. In his second year with the Regina Pats, goaltender Matt Hewitt recorded his 3rd shutout of the season with a 26 save night as he shutdown the Prince Albert Raiders for a close 2-0 win.
