Spencer Tremblay earned his 1st win as a Cat as Moncton outshot the Sherbrooke Phoenix 41-29 this past Saturday. This one adds to the win column as the team is now on a 4 game win streak. The Winnipeg born 18 year old has appeared in 3 games so far this season after being picked up by Moncton. Seeing his first bit of action with the Tri-City Americans Brendan Fiebelkorn got inbetween the pipes against the Portland Winterhawks on Sunday. Being up against a strong offensive squad Portland dominated the second period with an 18-5 advantage in shots on goal, and extended the lead to 5-0 with 42.4 seconds left in frame when Leipsic scored his second of the game. Fiebs made several big stops off the rush to keep the Americans alive throughout the game. Comrie and Fiebelkorn combined for 37 saves in the loss, while Mac Carruth made 15 saves in the shutout victory. Tri-City will begin an eight game home stand starting on Friday, Nov. 2 when they welcome back the Everett Silvertips (6-8-0-1, 13 pts) to the Toyota Center. The game will be the start of a three game weekend at the Toyota Center.
