MOOSE JAW – Team Manitoba responded in their second game at the Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup with a big 7-3 win over Saskatchewan. Despite being outshot 42 – 27 in the game, Team Manitoba committed to a hard fought effort throughout the game and was able to pull away in the third period starting with a clutch short-handed goal from Clay Tait followed by Dallas Starodub on the power-play and lastly an empty net goal by Ryley Lindgren. GDI Prairies goaltender, Ty Edmonds, was a standout in the game as he stopped 39 of 42 shots on the night. Team Manitoba will face Team BC Saturday afternoon Oct 29th – 3:00 PM (MT).
