In the WHL:

Saturday evening, goaltender Spencer Tremblay got his second start of the year in net. Peppered with 37 shots, Tremblay held hisown in the close 3-2 defeat. In the opposite division, the Everett Silvertips squeezed out a 3-2 'W' with the help of young netminder Austin Lotz. Lotzy was awarded the games first star. Saskatoon and Tri-City currently sit atop their conferences.

In the MJHL:

Saturday night - Dawson Guhle helped the Dauphin Kings trample over the Pistons with a 5-4 victory. On Sunday - Goaltender Matt Krahn of the OCN Blizzard helped take down Swan Valley for a 5-2 victory. Tegan Sacher led the Saints past Neepawa as he shut down the Natives on the Penalty Kill, going 6 for 7 on the night, and stopping 29 of 32 pucks thrown his way.

In the MBAAA:

Saturday afternoon had both Winnipeg teams going head to head in a north end vs south end battle. The Wild captured a win over the Thrashers by the games end with a 4-1 result. Fiebelkorn and Moodie both had strong performances in net. The Winnipeg Wild now sit atop the League with a 17-0 record. Mitch Wiebe took down the Interlake Lightning as he helped the Central Plains Capitals get a much needed 3-2 Win. In the opposite Conference, Brian Archibald helped the Southwest Cougars take down the Yellowhead Chiefs 6-1. Archy held the Chiefts to an outstanding 1 for 17 on their Powerplay.
