Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete and Winnipeg, MB product Jason Kasdorfhas been voted the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Month and Rookie of the Month following a stellar February performance. Kasdorf was drafted by Winnipeg in the sixth round, 157th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Kasdorf led the Engineers to a 7-1-0 record through February with a 1.48 goals against average and a 0.940 save percentage. He only allowed 12 goals - just six at even strength - on 200 shots. Kasdorf has an 11-3-2 overall record, a 1.63 goals against average and a .938 save percentage. He has played each of the last 11 games since returning from an injury. He is currently fourth in the nation in goals against average and winning percentage (.750) and sixth in save percentage (.938). In 15 league contests, he is 10-2-2 with a 1.51 average and a .943 percentage. This is the fourth time Kasdorf has been honoured by the league.
