OUR HOCKEY TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Our hockey-specific training will help elevate your game to the next level. Each athlete’s program is specifically made to fit the needs of the individual. Programs are constructed from a combination of our intensive player profiling process, sport specific positional needs analysis, and collaborative individual goal setting. All training sessions are recorded and monitored in real time through our athlete management software. This enables us to track your progression daily making sure you are on your way to Prove Yourself!
 
This periodized program is composed of strength and conditioning sessions, speed and movement sessions, yoga, nutrition/hydration education, and several recovery modalities. Whether it be learning correct movement patterns, improving recovery between shifts with advanced breathing techniques, or improving power output with our pneumatic training devices each program is designed around your specific needs. With constant collaboration between our certified professionals and the skills staff from both The Rink Player Development and The Rink Goalie Development, everything you do off the ice will be tailored to making you a better player on the ice. 

YOUTH HOCKEY TRAINING OVERVIEW

Our RINK Testify Performance Youth Hockey Training takes a tailored approach to training young hockey players off the ice. For players at this level it is vital to to build a foundation of effective movement patterns, balance, and coordination that translates to on ice goals being met.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • 2 x 60 Minute Workout Sessions Per Week
  • Access to Recovery Lounge Post Workout

RECOVERY LOUNGE

RINK Testify's Recovery Lounge is located on the east side of the gym. This area feature 3 recovery stations loaded with Rapid Reboot recovery equipment such as the size specific boot, hip, and arm attachments. Our Rapid Reboot equipment speeds up your body’s natural healing processes by enhancing blood flow to your muscles to facilitate cellular repair and protein synthesis, boosting lymphatic drainage to relieve inflammation and reduce swelling, and mobilizing waste products such as lactic acid and excess fluids. What you’ll notice is less stiffness and soreness, as well as increased mobility and flexibility.

RINK TESTIFY PERFORMANCE FACILITY OVERVIEW

RINK Testify Performance is outfitted with the latest in fitness equipment and a knowledgable staff so you have every resource available for you to meet your training needs. Features within the gym include a 1,107 sq ft section of synthetic turf, 600 sq ft multi-purpose studio, full serviced athletic therapy clinic, recovery lounge, men’s and women’s change rooms with showers and a 200m track.
